this one is hard to write about. you entered my life unexpectedly, and left just as abruptly. I thank you for the chance to learn that much more about who I am and the opportunity to grow. I will always look back to the moments we shared and what we had with a certain fondness. Much like the fireworks in the sky I love so much, they shone in iridescent brightness but ultimately weren't meant to last.
While my heart still hurts, no matter how much I miss you, I know that I deserve far more than what you gave me.
I'm not willing to settle for anything less, even with you. Knowing that gives me the conviction that ultimately I made the right decision and the strength to keep moving forward.
Note to self: be patient with the universe, good things are coming.
